    Microsoft's Windows 95 operating system makes you nostalgic? Here's now a way to enjoy the retro experience. Andrea Faulds, a 19-year-old developer from Scotland. Faulds has been able to get Microsoft's Windows 95 OS running in almost any web browser using Emscripten emulator. Requiring no downloads, plug-ins or any special feature, Emscripten is an emulator that converts C++ code to JavaScript in real-time.

    According to technobuffalo website, "The emulator takes a minute to load up, but once you're inside it, it's surprisingly snappy. It provides you with a full Windows 95 operating system and everything you'd expect to get with it including classic games like Solitaire and Minesweeper and it runs incredibly well."

    Recently, a gamer had installed Windows 95 on a Nintendo 3DS XL. He also uploaded a video to YouTube of the booting sequence.

    One of Microsoft's most popular OSes, Windows 95 turned 20-year-old in August last year. Windows 95 was the company's first OS to include the popular Start menu.

    Microsoft also entered the browser wars with this OS, bundling its Internet Explorer with Windows 95. Within a few years, Internet Explorer beat Netscape to become the world's most widely-used web browser.
